Terms of sale

1. Purpose These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between MV3D, hereinafter referred to as "the Seller", and any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website mv3d.fr, hereinafter referred to as "the Buyer".

2. Products MV3D offers on-demand, 3D-printed products. Products may be:

  • Standard: products available in stock, as displayed on the website.

  • Customized: made-to-order products manufactured according to the specifications provided by the Buyer (dimensions, color, shape, text, supplied file, etc.).

Certain products offered on the website are entirely designed in-house by MV3D, from the initial design blueprint to the final product. These original creations are the result of continuous development work. In this spirit of ongoing improvement, MV3D welcomes all feedback and comments from its customers. Every review is an opportunity to improve and deliver increasingly high-quality products.

3. Pricing Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included (VAT). The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time, on the understanding that the price listed in the catalog on the day of the order shall be the sole price applicable to the Buyer.

4. Orders The Buyer places their order online via the website. The sale is considered final once the order confirmation email has been sent and payment has been received. For customized orders, the Buyer is advised to carefully verify the submitted specifications before confirmation, as production begins based on these details.

5. Payment Payment for purchases is made via the payment methods offered on the website. Payment is due immediately upon ordering.

6. Manufacturing and Lead Times MV3D products are made to order using 3D printing technology. Manufacturing and delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on part complexity and production workload. The Buyer will be notified in the event of an exceptional delay.

7. Delivery Products are delivered to the address provided by the Buyer during the ordering process. The Buyer is responsible for checking the accuracy of the delivery information entered (first name, last name, full address) prior to confirming the order. Any delay, delivery failure, or additional cost resulting from an error or omission in the information provided by the Buyer (incomplete or incorrect address, wrong name, etc.) shall not give rise to any interest, compensation, or damages of any kind payable by the Seller. Any re-shipping costs shall be borne solely by the Buyer. Likewise, any reasonable delay attributable to the carrier shall not entitle the Buyer to claim damages.

8. Right of Withdrawal

  • Standard products: In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the Buyer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to state reasons or pay penalties. The product must be returned in perfect condition. In accordance with Article L.221-23 of the French Consumer Code, return shipping costs are under all circumstances the sole responsibility of the Buyer, regardless of the reason for withdrawal. The Buyer is informed of this condition prior to any order through this notice.

  • Customized products: In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized. Any customized order that has been confirmed and entered into production cannot be canceled or refunded, except in the case of a proven defect or lack of conformity.

9. Technical Characteristics and Visual Appearance MV3D products are manufactured using fused deposition modeling (FDM/FFF) 3D printing. This manufacturing process inherently involves technical and visual characteristics specific to the technology, which under no circumstances constitute manufacturing defects:

  • Layer lines: Successive printed layer lines are visible on the surface of the parts. This is an inherent characteristic of the FDM process, widely recognized and accepted in the 3D printing industry.

  • Slight surface variations: Minor surface imperfections or marks related to the printing process may be present and are considered normal.

  • Color variations: Slight variations in shade may occur between different orders of the same product depending on the material batch used.

The Buyer acknowledges having been informed of these characteristics prior to ordering and cannot invoke these aspects as grounds for a return, cancellation, or refund.

10. Warranties and Defects All products benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). In the event of a defect discovered upon receipt, the Buyer must contact the Seller within 48 hours, providing supporting photographs. The following are considered defects: broken parts, dimensions non-compliant with validated specifications, or any structural flaw rendering the product unusable. The visual characteristics inherent to 3D printing described in Section 9 are not considered defects. In the case of a proven defect, the Seller undertakes primarily to remake and reship the product at its own expense as soon as possible. If remaking or reshipping is not feasible (material shortage, discontinuation of production, or any other reason making this solution impossible or disproportionate for the Seller), the Seller will offer the Buyer, at the Buyer’s choice:

  • A credit note of equivalent value, valid on a future order;

  • A full refund for the defective product.

11. Personal Data Collected information is necessary to process your order. In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data.

Section — Customization of NFC Media and Public Data The customer is solely responsible for the content, access links, and contact details provided for encoding the NFC card or displaying their profile page. The Seller cannot be held liable for fraudulent use, loss, or unauthorized dissemination of personal data that the customer has chosen to make accessible via their NFC medium.

12. Mediation and Dispute Resolution In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, MV3D offers a consumer mediation service. In the event of an unresolved dispute, the Buyer may refer the matter free of charge to the following mediator:

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through mediation, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
